She works closely with top leaders experiencing job transitions, negotiating employment contracts, equity or other compensatory arrangements to ensure their compensation, equity and employment terms are fair, strategic and forward-looking. She also helps businesses design and implement bonus, incentive compensation and equity plans, set up employee benefits and handle sensitive situations such as layoffs, executive departures and organizational restructurings.

Sherrone’s experience spans a wide range of complex, high-stakes employment and compensation matters, including:

● Negotiating executive employment, consulting and board service agreements.

● Managing reductions in force and advising on severance and early retirement programs.

● Drafting and enforcing agreements containing restrictive covenants across multistate workforces.

● Guiding clients through compensation-related compliance issues, including equity plans and benefit programs and required public securities filings.

● Advising on employment issues in the context of corporate transactions and distressed company scenarios.

Sherrone brings particular value to venture capital-backed startups, private equity-owned businesses and public companies, helping them navigate the evolving standards around executive pay, equity and workforce management.
