Carol Buckmann and Gretchen Harders to Lead ERISA Fiduciary Best Practices Webinar for ABA’s Joint Committee on Employee Benefits

Cohen & Buckmann founding partner Carol I. Buckmann and partner Gretchen Harders will provide guidance to fiduciaries who manage ERISA-covered plans and their legal advisers in an Oct. 8 webinar for the American Bar Association’s Joint Committee on Employee Benefits.

Buckmann and Harders will present “The Intelligent Fiduciary: Common Problems ERISA Fiduciaries Can Avoid,” providing practical insights for a national audience of legal professionals.

Buckmann and Harders will discuss long-standing and emerging laws affecting ERISA fiduciaries and share takeaways for lawyers, including how to manage and minimize fiduciary litigation risks and best practices for plan governance. IMA Financial Group’s associate general counsel Jason P. Lacey will moderate the panel.
